Congratulations to Hope the Mission on the opening of a new interim shelter for families, The Sierra. It’s been a thrill to work with Hope on a number of regional expansion projects these past months, truly moving at the speed of need.

With State Homekey dollars and partnerships with the County and City of Lancaster, we turned a run down motel into a space of inspiration that will house 50 families, a pet park, amenities, services, kitchen facilities, and a pre-school.
